DINELLE, Laurier Keith

“Gone but not forgotten”

Passed away peacefully at Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) with his family by his side on Monday, February 8, 2016 in his 72nd year. Dear son of the late Loggy Dinelle and Jean Mick (late Ray). Much loved brother of Mike (late Verna), Pat (Maxine), Linda Vaughan (Bob), Bonnie McClenaghan (John), Gail Mick (Bill), Tim (Yvonne) and the late Joseph. Keith will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends in Sault Ste. Marie and Wellesley, and co-workers from M.T.O. Keith lived life HIS WAY, and although he had no children, he had a caring heart and compassion, especially for under privileged kids, sponsoring children abroad, and assisting some locally to play hockey. He enjoyed playing games, and even invented and marketed a board game. He played goalie in his younger days for the Echo Bay Imperials, and was a huge fan of Bobby Orr, and Jean Beliveau. In the summer months, he could be found watching fastball and cheering on local legend Darren Zack. His favorite music was Elvis Presley. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude to the staff on 3-B, S.A.H. and to Dr. Booth and all the staff and volunteers at ARCH for the wonderful care Keith received. You are all truly “Angels of mercy”. As symbolized by the dragonfly, Keith has now made the transition from his earthly home to his heavenly home. At Keith’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place and interment will be at Maple Leaf Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contributions made to ARCH would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (492 Wellington St. East, 705-759-2522).
