Passed away unexpectedly as a result of a workplace accident on November 27th, 2021, at the age of 41. He is survived by his loving wife Amanda. Adored father to Brycen and Gabriella. Lovingly remembered by stepmother Rosallan, mother-in-law Rhonda (late Marcel Cada), grandma Lilly Meyer Lang, by his siblings, Brandee, Trevor, Christian Meyer, Adam and Jason As well as his uncles, John Meyer (Lynn) and Larry Savoie and aunt, Liz Meyer Savoie.

Now reunited with his parents, Bridget Meyers and Barry Sr. Sister Nicole and aunt Lizzie Meyer. Grandparents, Arne Meyer, Ivy and Jack.

Barry will be missed by many nieces, nephews, one great niece, extended family close by and overseas, as well as his friends and brothers from the rail.

A special thank you to the first responders, his rail gang that stayed with him during the accident, Universal Rail, OWS Railroad Construction and the Local 1036 Union.

Cremation has taken place. Family will receive guests on Thursday, December 9th from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. To attend the visitation, relatives and friends must register (RSVP) either online or by calling the funeral home. Please wear a face mask and practice physical distancing.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Barry's service is reserved for immediate family only. Extended family and friends are encouraged to participate in a livestream on Thursday, December 9th, 2021, at 2pm with Helen Smith officiating.
