DiBATTISTA, EUGENIO

Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital (Critical Care) on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Clara (nee Bucci). Eugenio will be lovingly remembered by his children Tino (Joanne), DiBattista, Gina (Aldo) Greco, Joe (Debbie) DiBattista and grandchildren Michael, Brent,late Lindsay and Tyler DiBattista, Karrah and Kristen Greco. Beloved brother of Emilio (Annina), the late Silvio (Vera), the late Luigi (Antoinetta) and the late Giuseppe (Irma) DiBattista. Eugenio will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins both here and abroad. Eugenio was a retiree of Algoma Central Railway and will be remembered for his long service with St. Gregory’s Choir and the G. Marconi Society. He had a zest for life and thoroughly enjoyed music and dancing but most of all he loved to be involved with his many friends. Friends may call at O’Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home and Cremation Center, corner of Cathcart and St. James Sts. Friday, June 5th from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass, Saturday, June 6th. At St. Gregory’s Church, Estelle St. at 10:30 a.m. with Msgr. Victor Amadio officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
