Passed away peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the age of 96.
Beloved wife of the late Dominic (Nick) DiAngelo. Loving mother of Michael (Gwennyth), Richard (Joyce), Donald (Donna), Laura Maier (Rennie), Denis (Susan) and Gary (Cheryl). Proud Grandmother of 15 and Great-Grandmother of 9. Predeceased by her parents James and Laura Carr (nee DeMott). Dear sister of the late Mabel (late Edward Wagner) and the late James Carr; sister-in-law of the late Lily Hertzog (late Oscar), the late Angelina Barsanti (late Al), the late Yula Brousseau (late Jerry), the late Nancy Genetti and the late John DiAngelo (late Nesca).
Erma was devoted to her family and will be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends. She always made family mealtimes and gatherings a special occasion.
A long time member of the St. Jerome’s Catholic Women’s League and Choir, she enjoyed volunteering and offering support whenever needed.
Cedar 2 at the F. J. Davey Home became her home for the past few years, where staff provided friendship, care and compassion. We are truly thankful to everyone from those special PSW’s and Activity Co-ordinators as well as those in Dietary, Physio, Housekeeping and Front Desk. All of you brought her comfort and happiness.
We also wish to acknowledge the care provided by SAH physicians and staff over the past few years.

Funeral Mass to be held at St. Jeromes Catholic Church on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 1:00 pm., Rev. Alex Saurianthadathi officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
