DEVON, Jean Kathleen (nee Power)

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 4, 2012.  Devoted wife of Meryn Devon. Loving mother of Susan Colizza (Tony), the late Keith Devon (Laura), Janet Chambers (John) and Paul Devon (Darlene) of Ottawa.  Especially wonderful grandmother to Sherri Recollet (Guy), Amy Bratu (Gheorghe), Anthony Colizza, Corey Chambers, Bethany, Adam, Elizabeth and Thomas Devon.  Great-grammy to Sierrah, Olivia, Hannah and Isabella.  Dear sister of the late Fred Power (Doris late Shirley) and Patrick Power (Carolyn). Sister-in-law and Auntie Jean to many in the Devon Clan.  Jean worked as a registered nurse at the General Hospital Emergency Room.  She was a humble inspiration to everyone she came in contact with.  She will be greatly missed.  Friends are invited to call at St. Jerome Church (23 Carmel Road) on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 1 p.m.  Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating.  Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758).  www.northwoodfuneral.com.
