Peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Sudbury Regional
Hospital - Laurentian Site on Saturday January 8, 2005; Bill Devoe at the age of 68
years. Beloved husband and best friend of Frances. Dear father of; Brenda
Rooley-Johnstone (Dave), Bill (friend Brenda) and Debbie Klaric (David). Loving
grampa and best friend of; Jason, Tyler, Meghan, D.J. and Jessica. Son of the late
Paul and Doris Devoe. Brother of; Gordie (Claudia), Jim (Brenda), Jack (Sally),
Larry (Nancy) and Paulette. Son-in-law of; the late Frank and Anne Winch.
Brother-in-law of; Barry Winch (Janine), late Ron Winch (Charlotte) and Barb Willis
(Wayne). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill will be
sorely missed by his friend and companion Penny. Family and friends are invited to
share memories of and to celebrate Bill's life at Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great
Northern Road 945-7758) on Wednesday January 12, 2005 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. At
Bill's request there will be no funeral service. Memorial donations made to the
Northern Cancer Research - Daffodil Terrace or to the Canadian Diabetes Association
would appreciated by the family.
