Loving and caring husband of the late Marion Desimone. Predeceased by his parents (Francesco and Teresa) and numerous brothers and sisters. Dearly loved brother of the late Carmen Desimone (late Josephine). Caring stepfather of Connie Cipparone (Sam), Frank Sarlo (Laura), Abbie Sarlo (Gail) and the late Bertha Sarlo. Adored step grandfather of the late Anthony Cipparone (Kathy), Paul Cipparone (Sherry), Andrea Sarlo–Seifer (Ilya), Frank Sarlo (Shannon), Abby Lynn Sarlo- Mclean (John) and Chris Sarlo (Lauren). Step great grandfather and step great, great grandfather of many. Loved and devoted Uncle of Theresa Leask (Doug) Franca Huckson (Bill) Silvana Huckson (Joe) Mary Russon (Randy) Julie DeSimone Syms (Bill). Great Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Having a fun-loving spirit, he would attract all of the children in the family to him continually amusing them. Joe’s hospitality to all that visited was always warm and kind. You couldn’t leave without tasting his latest recipe or sampling the year’s homemade wine. He will be missed.
