Suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital, Sault Ste. Marie on Thursday April 8, 2010 at the age of 63 years. Dear son of the late Steven and Beatrice Deschamps. Loving brother of Mary Chiasson of White River, Viola Chiasson (Henry) of Marathon, Joe Deschamps (Caroline) of Pic Heron Bay, James Deschamps (Kathy) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Douglas Deschamps (Anna) of Pic Mobert, Louise Thoms (Eric) of White River, Michael Deschamps (Holly) of Marathon and predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Bill will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at St. Basil's Catholic Church on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Basil's Catholic Church on Wednesday April 14, 2010 at 12:00 noon with Father Manuel officiating. Interment at the White River Native Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Doctors, nurses and staff at the Manitouwadge General Hospital, the S.A.H.
