DESANDO, CONCETTA

Our Beloved mother and grandmother has gone to be with her Savior, her husband and her parents. Concetta Desando passed into eternity on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Van Daele Manor. She was in her 97th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Giulio Desando and loving mother of Nicola Desando (Rosina) , Concetta Michienzi (Giuseppe), Giuseppe Desando (Immacolata), Joanne Sirianni (Rosario) and Eugenio Desando (Leanne). Greatly loved grandmother of Concetta, Giulio, Maria, Yolanda, Andrew, Giulio, Raffale, Concetta, Joseph, Teresa, John, Celina and Cristina. Great grandmother of 19. Concetta was predeceased by her parents, Giuseppe and Giovanna Galera and is survived by her brother Giuseppe Galera of Italy , as well as many nephews and nieces. Friends may call at O’Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home and Cremation Center, corner of Cathcart and St. James Sts. Monday August 4 th from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Gregorys Church, Estelle St., Tuesday August 5th at 11 a.m. with Msgr Victor Amadio officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated..
