DELLAIRE, Joyce (nee HUTCHINSON)

In Loving Memory of Joyce Dellaire, 77 years, who left us peacefully and with family by her side on Monday, February 15th, 2010 at the Manitoulin Centennial Manor in Little Current, Ontario. Daughter of the late George and the late Margaret Hutchinson (nee Cantin) born on February 15th, 1933. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Dellaire (July 12, 2005). Loving and Devoted mother of Judy Nowgabow (Alex) of Birch Island, David Dellaire (Pat) of Sault Ste. Marie, and Robin Charette (Gaetan) of Oka, Que. Predeceased by her son Robert. Caring and Compassionate Grandmother of Kerry, Stacey, Lisa, David, Amy, Chantel, Stephane, Philippe, Dany and Great-Grandmother of Jami, Sara, Jonathan, Mary, Antonia, Noah, and Aidan. Dearest sister of Bob (Helen) and George (Wanda) both of Sault Ste. Marie. Joyce will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Joyce will be most fondly remembered for her moving and inspiring piano playing gift. She played concert level pieces with ease and loved playing for her family while she was able. It was this gift that brought her and future husband Bernard together. Joyce was also an avid card player who achieved a Master’s status in Duplicate Bridge. She was a very generous and kind person who loved spending time with friends and family. She and husband Bernard, hosted many fun get-togethers at their camp. Binoculars in hand, Joyce would be waiting for that one long honk to send “Miss Muffet” on its way. Joyce was always quick to help others and was well loved by all who knew her. Friends and Family may call at O’Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home and Cremation Center, corner of Cathcart St. and St. James St. on Thursday, February 18th, 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 19th at Blessed Sacrament Church, Cathcart St. at 10am with Father Eric Pannike officiating Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family would like to extend their thanks to the nursing and recreational staff of the Manitoulin Centennial Manor as well as to the staff at Extendicare Tendercare in the Sault.
