Suddenly, at the General Hospital on Wednesday, May 6th, 2009 Melis De Jong in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Eugenia (Sonya) De Jong. Dear father of Joseph (Maureen) and Robert (Rebecca) . Grandfather to Michael (Julie), Iain (Ciara) , Eugenia, Robert and Darian. Great grandfather to Garrin, Lauren, Hamish and Shelagh. He was predeceased by 4 brothers and is survived by his only sister Janie Kennedy and his brother Jan De Jong, all of the Netherlands. Friends may call at O’Sullivan-Donnelly Funeral Home , corner of Cathcart & St. James Sts. Friday May 8th from 11 A.M. until time of Service in the chapel at 12 noon followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
