Suddenly at home on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Margaret for over 57 good years. Loving father of Linda Margaret Dawe (late Scott Richards) of Toronto and Elizabeth-Anne Prince (Allan J.) of Edmonton. Cherished grandfather of Ashley W.G. Alvaro, Corbin and Dylan Prince. Dear brother of Marjorie Sanderson (late James) of Oxford Mills, James Dawe (Mildred) of Kingston, Winnifred Hutchison (Frank) of Kingston, Mary Lou McDougall (late Danny) of Nova Scotia and Myrtle Robinson (late Doug) of New York State. Predeceased by brother and sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gordon was a Past Master of Keystone Lodge, Past District Deputy Grand Master of Algoma District, Past Patron of Nokomis Chapter of the O.E.S. and Past President of the Sault Ste. Marie Shrine Club. A memorial service, conducted by the Very Reverend W.G. Dobinson, will be held at St. Luke’s Cathedral at 2 o’clock in the afternoon of April 23rd, 2004, with interment in St. Luke’s Cathedral Columbarium. Memorial contributions to the Masonic Hall Corporation or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Members of the Masonic Order are requested to gather in the Cathedral Hall by 1:40 pm and will process as a body into the cathedral.
