It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dennis Ralph Davey, peacefully at his Burlington home on January 28, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Wendy (nee Newell); his daughters, Shawne Kirchmair (Mike) and Jodi Cape (Nico); his grandchildren (whom he adored) Reichen and Matthew Kirchmair, Dylan, Cameron, and Max Cape; his mother-in-law Ruby Farmer; his brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Lynda Newell, sisters-in-law Dee Davey and Phyllis Davey; and his nieces Nicole Newell, Joanne McBain, Lynsey Davey and nephews James Newell and Jarrett Davey. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Bob and Kay Davey, and by his brothers, Brent and Doug.
Dennis had an amazing zest for life, and a great sense of humour, which he kept right to the end. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family, and we will cherish his memories forever.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
