DAMSTED, Christine (née Kelly)

1943- 2009 - The family announces with sorrow her sudden passing, Wednesday March 18, 2009 at Sudbury Memorial
Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Arnold Damsted (1986). Left behind to mourn her loss are two daughters, Joy (Dan) and Lori (Chris). Two grandsons, Calvin and Jesse; her extended family, Shelley, Dan, Josée and Max.
Christine is predeceased by her parents Margaret and Albert Kelly. She is survived by her sisters Mary (Richard) Ryan and Frances (Paddy) Ryan and brother Albert Kelly. Chris worked as a Registered Nurse at Anson General
Hospital. She enjoyed curling for many years. She volunteered at the Iroquois Falls Museum and she was passionate about recycling. Friends will be received at IRVINE AND IRVINE FUNERAL HOME, 641 Detroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls Monday March 23, 2009 from 11 am ~ 1 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday March 23,2009 at 1:00 P.M. Cremation to follow. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Iroquois Falls Museum and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
