It is with great sadness that we say farewell to Carmelle Damignani (nee Boucher) who passed away at home at the age of 63, on December 29, 2010, after a lengthy illness. A loving wife to Larry and constant companion Bijou. A dear mother to Brent Bywater (Jennifer), stepmother to Micheal (Teri-Jean), Dave (Deborah), and Lisa (Mark). A loving grandmother to Amanda, Christina, Christian, Annie, Hannah and Sophie. Predeceased by her parents, Anna Morin and Sylva Boucher. Loving sister to Diane (Doug), Paula (Gerry), Ginette and Lily. As per Carmelle’s wishes, private family services and cremation will take place. Carmelle showed tremendous courage and expressed unconditional love to everyone she came in contact with. A special thank you to Dr. Kobelka, Dr. Avery and the Community Care Access Centre. A very special thank you to Anne and all the other personal care workers at the Red Cross Community Health Services and all the nurses at the Comcare Health Services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carmelle’s memory to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice.
