DALY, Joanne Allison (nee Primeau) January 18, 1936 – February 25, 2024

“The Youngest of the Eleven”

We are heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of our beautiful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and aunt, Joanne. 

Beloved wife of the late John (1997). Treasured mother of Karen Soltys (Dave), Sean (Diane) and Nuala Juurakko (Timo). Adored Gram of Sean, Matthew (Avery), Shannon, Brennen, Kirsti and Collin. GG to Chas and Alyssa. Very special aunt to Penny Cerenzie (Rob), Melissa (Mike) and Ryan, Shannon (Jonathan), Rileigh and Luke, Lauren Chapman (Jack), Melanie (Demal) and Mia, Danielle (Chris), Skylar and Chase. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Catherine Primeau and her siblings Isabelle Beaudoin (Willard), Gordon Primeau (Joyce), Doris Moran (Bert and Melv), Ken Priau (Bea), Vivian O’Donnell (Bill), Marjorie Beaupre (Fred), Harold Premo (Evelyn), Stella White (Mike), Doreen Proulx (Doug) and Dorothy Mason (Tom). Sister-in-law to Tony Daly (late Denise). Predeceased by her in laws, Veronica Mann (Cuthbert), Nuala Jalak (Eldur), and Dorothy Deluzio (Terry & Phillip). Loved aunt to many nieces and nephews who meant the world to her. Loved by her Soltys family and “Fun Jo” to her Soltys nieces and nephews who she loved as her own.

Family and friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E; 705-759-2522) on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Funeral mass from Precious Blood Cathedral on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11 am. Rev. Jeff Shannon officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. With much love and gratitude, I want to thank my Bayshore “Angels”! You have all been and will always be a very important part of my life. The care and compassion and love you had for my mother was evident every day. The comfort and peace you gave me, will never be forgotten.
