DALLAIRE Ethel Marie

(June 17, 1924 - April 13, 2022)

It is with much sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ethel at the age of 97. Ethel is now reunited with her dear husband Roger Dallaire. Cherished mother of Roseann (late John Crawford), Lionel (Dara-lee), late Jeannine (John Kelly), late Wayne Dallaire. Special and much loved grandmother of Tina Ambeault (fur babies Jax and Joni), Laura-Lee Kelly (Daryl), Johnny Kelly (Jessica), Tracy Kawa, Kirk Harris, Matt Dallaire, Ashley Burch (Jeff), Ryan Stolarski and Jazmine Crawford (Alex). Loving great-grandmother of Amia-Lee, Jayden, Colton, Wyatt, Payton, Julian and Audrey. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Julia Corbiere. Predeceased by her siblings Andrew, Joanne, Emile, Edward, Matthew, Donald and Ralph. Ethel will be missed by her faithful fur companion Chico. Much-loved aunt to many wonderful nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered by extended family whom she loved in Sault Ste. Marie and Quebec, especially her dear friends Martine Boissoneau and Dorothy Morin. Ethel had a very generous heart and was a devout Catholic who always enjoyed to pay it forward. She was a proud Indigenous woman who was active in her community including her dedication to the Elders Club. Ethel also enjoyed time with family and friends at bingo. She had a love for country music whether it was dancing, listening or singing along with her favorite country artist. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (Wellington St. East 705-759-2522) on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 between 12:30pm - 2:00pm. Funeral Mass to take place at Immaculate Heart of Mary (1082 Highway 17B, East, Garden River, ON, Canada P6A 6Z5) to follow at 3:00pm with Father Robert Mugisha officiating. Feast to follow after Mass in the church basement. Memorial contributions to Immaculate Heart of Mary would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to express their gratitude to her favourite PSW's through the Maamwesying Program, Tiffanie and Erin. A special thank you to Batchewana First Nation Band and Niigaaniin Program. Although Ethel's time at Extendicare Maple View may have been brief the care and compassion from the staff was appreciated.  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the Dallaire family.

"Those we love
don't go away,
they walk beside us
each day.
Unseen, unheard
So loved, so missed,
so very dear"
