Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Alex. Loved mother of Betsy Currier (Steve Larocque), Mike (Lillian) and Patty Chaimbrone (Randy). Loving grandmother of Trish Harper (Russell), Stephen Summers (Lora), Kristan MacLachlan (Greg), Matthew Chaimbrone, Elise Currier, Miranda Chaimbrone, Vanessa Chaimbrone and Mitchell Currier. Great grandmother of Molly Summers, Owen and Sophie Harper and Arabella MacLachlan. Dear sister of Dora Walton (late Alex) and predeceased by her brothers Merle Running, Chum Running (late Kay) and Arnold Running (late Helen). Sister-in-law of Marjorie Sharpe and the late Mary Butter (Stan). Melva will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
