Peacefully in Hanover on Thursday, April 14, 2005 in her 96th year. Earla Currie, wife of the late Norman Currie of New Liskeard. Predeceased by her parents Joanna and Abraham Cameron. Loving mother of Beverley Cox (Russell) of Huntington Beach, California and Dean Currie (Diana) of Hanover Ontario. Special grandmother to Michael (Kim) and Duane Cox both of Huntington Beach California, Russell (Tamara) of San Diego California, Tammy (Tom) Hyatt of Callander, Ontario, Jody (Nichole) of Courtice Ontario, Ryan (Shannon) Currie of North Bay Ontario and 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Archie, Len, George and sisters Lillian and Ruth. Dear sister-in-law of Rhona McLarty (Ken) of Sault Ste. Marie and Glen Currie (Joan) of Thessalon. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon where friends may call on Monday April 18 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday April 19 at 11:00 o'clock. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation gratefully accepted.
