After a long meaningful life, Marjorie passed peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Friday, November 6th, 2009 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late George Currie). Cherished mother of Judith Currie Ross, William (Faith), Jane VanKirk (John), Jennifer Young (Gregg) and Bruce. Grandmother to William, Patricia, Mary Ellen, Timothy, Kimberly, Douglas, Curtis, Christopher, Michael, Matthew, David, Lamyai, Amanda and Brittany. Great grandmother of 20 and great great grandmother of one. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers Agnes Elgie (late Bill), Mary Elizabeth (Mamie) (late Samuel), William (late Marion), Alex (late Marion) and Jock (Verena). Marjorie will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road) on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Reverend Bill Stadnyk and Reverend Mel Binks officiating.
