December 3, 1918 – October 5, 2009. It is with extreme sadness that her family announces the death of Bella Cumming on Monday, October 5, 2009. She died after a thankfully short and courageous struggle with cancer. Her final months were spent at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice where she enjoyed the loving attention and affection of all the nurses and volunteers, for which her family will be forever grateful. Born on December 3, 1918, Bella had a life filled with many passions, hunting, fishing, the outdoors, her son Lee's camp, playing many musical instruments, playing cards and the slots. She was passionate about them all. She was predeceased by her husband Scotty in 1987 and her brothers Leo and Desire. She is survived by her children Lynn Cumming (Sherry), Lee Cumming (Janice), Lorry Cumming and Lynda Cumming (Dave), five grandchildren, Kelly, Cory (Becky Jo), Dylan (Beth), Jordan and Brennan Cumming and 5 great grandchildren, Mason, CoraLee, Adriann, Katie Jo and Anna Mae Cumming. She is also survived by her loving sister Flora Bradley and her nephews Chris Bradley, Bart Bradley and Roland Rouleau. A celebration of Bella's long and interesting life will be held at Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 1 pm until time of funeral service at 3 pm. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to A.R.C.H. would be appreciated.
