Born September 11, 1927 in Cleto, Cosenza, Italy. Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 5, 2007 surrounded by his loved ones. Beloved husband of Mafalda (Naccarato) of 41 years and predeceased by his first wife Isabella (1962). Loved and respected father of Silvana Pileggi (Sam), Anna Maria Bruni (John) and John Cuglietta (Lydia). Proud Nonno of Isabella Kaminsky (Mitch), Joe Pileggi (Elizabeth), Franco Pileggi, Joe Bruni (fiance Emily Pellegrino), Anthony, Melissa and Amanda Bruni, Jake and Marina Cuglietta. Great grandfather of Alyssa and Brianna Pileggi. Son of the late Giovanni and Rosa Cuglietta. Dear brother of the late Michele (late Costantina), late Lucillo (late Cristina), Rosaria Pagliaro (late Eugenio), Vittorio (Ida) all of Italy, late Vincenzo (late Ruth) of England and Carmela Cuglietta of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear brother-in-law of Mario Naccarato (Ortenzia), late Emma Iuliano (late Domenico), late Ercole Naccarato (late Marianna), Rosetta Iuliano (Pasquale) all of Sault Ste. Marie, Anselmo Naccarato (Emilia) of Germany, Elena Sacco (Settimio), Lisa Scanga (late Mario), late Luisa Cuglietta (late Francesco), Rosa Pucci (Camillo), Lorenzo Cuglietta (Rosaria), Mario Cuglietta (Maria) all of Italy. Dearest uncle of Rosetta Bruni (Mario), late Giovanni Cuglietta (Maria), Rudy Pagliaro (Gisella), Nino Cuglietta and Corrado Cuglietta all of Sault Ste. Marie. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, U.S.A., Italy, Germany and England. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Gregory's Church on Friday, March 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the New Sault Area Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated.
