Crockford, Glenna June (Goodmurphy) 1936-2012

Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday August 15, 2012 at the Thessalon Hospital in her 77th year.  Beloved wife for fifty nine years of Ross.  Dear father of Dale ( Glenda ), Dawna ( Reg Gardiner ) and Douglas ( Jennifer ).  Much loved grandmother to Darin ( Pam ), Alicia ( Malcolm Croskery ), Steven ( Stacy ) and Meghan ( Paul Theberge ).  Special great grandma to Tyler, Brant, Kennedy, Maya and Braun.  Predeceased by her parents Annie and Harry Goodmurphy,  Loving sister to Lyla ( late Lloyd Walker ), Blanche ( Gerry Walker ), Doris Crockford ( late Earl ), Norma Crockford ( late Len ), Ray Goodmurphy ( Jeannine ) and the late Lawrence ( Barbara and the late Norma ).  Dear sister-in-law of the late Al and Olga Crockford.  Aunt Glenna will be missed by many nieces and nephews and their families.  Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon on Sunday August 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.  Funeral service on Monday August 20, 2012 at 11 o’clock at Zion United Church, Thessalon followed by interment in Maple Ridge Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations are graciously accepted by the family to the Thessalon Cancer Society in honour of her endless hours of volunteering, or donations to the Thessalon Hospital gratefully accepted.  Special thanks to Dr Heather Blois and the Thessalon Hospital Staff for their compassion and care.  Thank you to Dr Ogston and the staff at the Thessalon Medical Centre.  To Theresa from Bayshore Home Care, your special care will not be forgotten, thankyou.  www.beggsfh.com
