CRIGGER, Albert Wilmer (Bill)

Dad went to his eternal rest on December 20, 2003 in his 92nd year, at his residence in Elgin Abbery, Chesley, Ontario. He was born December 23, 1911 at Williamsford, Ontario. Son of Charles and Kate (Koch) Crigger. His parents, his four brothers; Fred, Edward, Elmer, Percy and three sisters; Clara, Tressia and Ethiel predeceased Bill. His first wife Catherine Mary (Whalen) also predeceased him. Bill is survived by his loving wife Elsa (Guse, Klages) and daughters Shirley (Armond Lang) of Desboro, Helen (Ernie Friese) of Matheson, Audrey (Burnie Walker) of Chesley, and son Jerry Klages (Cathie) of Goulais River. Grandfather to Glen, Marlene, Elaine, Eric, Ellen (Lang) Dale, Dean, Brad (Friese); Susan, Elizabeth, Heather, Mark, Bradley, Trevor (Walker), Mandy (Klages), Charlotte, Graham and Ashley (Wiseman). In addition, twenty nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren mourn his passing. Funeral service was at St. Marks Lutheran Church, Chesley, Ontario December 22, 2003 conducted by Reverend Terri Ann Mattiasson. Friends, family and loved ones joined to celebrate Bill’s zest for life, and mourn the loss of a devoted husband, loving father, caring grandpa and trusted friend. Interment service and burial will be conducted at Chesley Cemetery spring of 2004.
