Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the age of 76.

Loving and supportive father of Jacqueline Crawford Lohan (Bodie Dorrance), proud grandfather of Caitlin Neve and Conor Crawford Lohan of Bermuda and remembered by former spouse Darlene Grave. Dear brother of Carol Thorsen (Steve) of Williamston, Michigan and Keith Crawford (Lori) of Freesoil, Michigan. Adored (Uncle Donald) to nieces Sara Kribs and Jodi Sell, nephews Steve, Shane and late Shawn Thorsen, Graham Crawford, and Josh Shack. Don will be sadly missed by many other cousins, relatives and extended family members.

Don was a devoted partner of Judy Pratt. He is lovingly remembered by Judy’s children, Chris Pratt and Margo Beaudoin and their son Bode, Mike and Diana Pratt and their children Elle and Henry, Liisa Pratt and Ryan Lashuay and their children Lilly-Ann, Wray and Oliver; Judy’s stepchildren Liz Pratt and her children Heaven and Salina and Kathleen Pratt (Tina von Cramm). Don or ‘Papa C’ delighted in all of his grandchildren.

Don will also be dearly missed by Judy’s family, Nancy Cardiff (late Bill), Kate and Richard Gordon, Mary Speller (who called Don “brother”), Melanie and Gerard Ball, Bethany Speller, Pamela and Kevin Stadnyk, Alison Gaber, David Speller and Spy Xenocostas, Mary and Monday Idehen. Our ‘brother’s’ generous spirit and grand sense of humour will be sorely missed.

Don loved nature and the bush. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who had an uncanny knack for spotting deer, partridge, rabbit, fox, and you name it. In retirement, he spent weeks at a time on his property on St. Joe’s Island, hunting, making maple syrup, and enjoying nature.

Friends and family may visit Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522) on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 pm.
