Beloved wife of the late Wilbert Couturier (2005). Cherished mother of Danny (Lori), Tammy Coutts (David), Maureen (Rob), Michael (Tanja), late Willy (Clara), Colleen, and late Robert. Loving grandmother of Trina Martin, Melissa Powley (Paul), Lacey Wagner (Spencer), Jacob Nolan (Amanda), Willie Poll (Stefan), Tanner Couturier (Valerie), Tianna Couturier, Toni Ann Schmidt, and Bryce Couturier. Great Grandmother of Cassidy Lynk, Connor Lynk, Zachary Martin, Reese Martin, Lucy Vanzant-Wagner, Aislyn Nolan, Grady Nolan and Ezra Couturier-Schmidt.
Daughter of the late Harold Newman (1988) and late Etta (2019). Daughter-in-law of the late Ida Grisdale and Douglas Couturier. Sister to late Irwin (2006), Maureen Mason (late Richard), Nancy Delavelle, Terry Newman, Jacqueline (Alan), and late Steven (2020) (Christine). Sister-in-law to late Shirley Bruno (late John), late Connie Bovingdon (Gus), late Lois Baxter (late Erleen), John (Mona), Donald (Kim), late David, Sharon Fry (Louie), late Sandra Olendy (late Peter), Aletha Bonin (Ken), late Carolyn, and Edward (Debbie), late Lloyd and late Beverly Masters (Ernie). Survived and missed by many nieces and nephews and friends. Predeceased by her dog Murphy.

Family and friends are welcome to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton and Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E., 705-759-2522) on February 23, 2024 from 5 - 8 pm. Thoughts and memories to be shared at 6 pm. Cremation to follow and a burial of cremated remains to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Make a Wish Foundation or A.R.C.H. (by cheque or online) can be made in Karen's honour.
