COURNEENE, Sister Mary Erma

A Grey Sister of the Immaculate Conception, Pembroke, ON died in Pembroke on the 25th day of November, 2012 in the 65th year of her Religious Life. Left to mourn are the members of her Religious Community, her sisters, Patricia I Gauthier (John), Helen Hutchinson (Robert), Gail Belanger, and brother, Murray.`   Predeceased by her parents, William Charles and Meta (Biggings). Sister Erma was born on September 22nd, 1923, in Sault Ste. Marie. She entered the Community on September 7th, 1948, pronouncing final vows on August Sth, 1953. A music teacher by profession, she taught at Immaculate High School, Ottawa, Pembroke. Port Credit and Whitby. Other ministries Involved six years as Administrator of St. Patrick's Home, Ottawa. She also served in the Ottawa Marriage Tribunal Office, and as General Secretary for the Grey  Sisters Comrnunlty. Her finaI years were lived at Shalom Residence, Pembroke. Restlng at the Marguerite CentreI 700 Mackay Street, on Tuesday, November 27th, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Evening Prayer at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Liturgy at Marguerite Centre Chapel on Wednesday, November 28th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Columba's Cemetery.  Arrangements by the Neville Funeral Home 401 isabella St., Pembroke (613) 7324481 Online Condolences may be left at www.nevillefuneralhome.ca.
