Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Donald for 58 years. Loving mother of Donna, Beverly Lepore (Gino), Stephen (Debbie), Allan, Carolyn Dumanski (Jerry) and Brooke (Tracey). Daughter of the late Bruce and Madeline Humphries. Grandmother of two granddaughters Dawn and Shania, nine grandsons Jeff (Heather), Matt, Josh, Todd, Taylor, Nathan, Jacob, Jared, Riley and one great grandson Lucas. Sister of Conrad Humphries (Norma). Sister-in-law of Laureen Corboy (late Alvin), Joy Corboy (late Jack) and predeceased by Bert (Kay), Ruth DiPietro (Nick), Trevor (Vera). Verla will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. A private family funeral service will be held. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
