After a long hard battle with diabetes, Martin passed away at his home on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the age of 57.
Father of Jeremy Corbett of Winnipeg Manitoba. Son of Shirley and the late Clifford Corbett (2008). Brother of Marshall (Shelly) of Fort McMurray Alberta, Mark (Brenda), Tracey King (Brad) and Glenn (Jocelyn). Uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. His frequent phone calls will be missed by his best friend Kenny McAlpine (Val) of Winnipeg Manitoba, whom Martin considered his brother. Cremation has taken place, and in keeping with Martin's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque) to the Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Thank you to Dr. Shaffi, Dr. Berry, as well as many others who cared for Martin during his many hospital stays. A special thank you to Wendy, his home-care PSW and Dolly from Bodyfirst, your care and compassion never went unnoticed.
