Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer Charles passed away at the Sault Area Hospital - Plummer Site on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Janet. Loving father of Jana Laframboise (Rob) and Todd Cooper of Queen Charlotte Islands, B.C. Cherished Grampie of Cooper and Genevieve Laframboise. Dear brother of Lois Bellinger (Nick). Son-in-law of Anne Ravlich. Very special brother-in-law of Bill and Cathy Barton, Matt and Gerry Ravlich and the late Randy Ravlich. Loving uncle of David Barton (Tammy) and Jake Barton. Charlie will also be remembered by several nieces and nephews. After 27 years as Executive Director of the Canadian Red Cross Charlie enjoyed his retirement at his cottage at Batchawana Bay. At Charlie's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations made to the New Sault Area Hospital Building Fund or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
