Today we celebrate the life of Dora E. Cook, 86 years, of Sault Ste. Marie, who passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2024.
Dora was fondly known as a beloved teacher for more than 25 years, a dedicated volunteer in her retirement, a faithful sports fan, and a strong advocate for the professional woman. After 36 years, Dora has gone to be with her husband, Brian A. Cook, in heaven.
Dora is survived by her wonderful children Gordon (Linda), Randall (Doris) and Cheryl. Beloved grandmother of Patrick, Brian, David and Amy. Cherished great-grandmother of Averi, Taelin, Aurora, Davin and Chyann. Loving sister of Sharon (late John), David (Linda), the late Cal (Ginny), Barbara and Kenny (Paulette). She will be greatly missed by many family and friends.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
