Peacefully passed away at the Extendicare Van Daele with her family at her side on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Julien 'Jules' for over 62 years. Loving mother of Ivan, Caroline Edwards (Yvon), Nick (April), Gilbert (Susie) and Vivian Paiano (Tony). Cherished grandmother of Camee, Allissia, Nathaniel, Stephanie, Julia, Baron, Jasmine, Hannah, Julien, Seth and Blythe. Dear sister of Opal Litalien (Adrien), Georgine Landry (late Bernard), Alexandre Kearney (late Blanche), Elenore Kearney, Edwidge Bernard (Paul), late Esther Landry (late Philippe), late Patrick Kearney, late Therese Savoie (late Guilmond), and the late Rose Bouchard. Sister-in-law of the late Germaine Cormier, late Cecile Cormier (late Hector) (Louis Frenette), Jeanne Guertin (late Royal), Flora Morin (late Roland), Gerry Clement (Sally), late Marcel Clement (Claire), late Elmire Lefave (late Jean), Alice Abbott and Rheal Clement (Cathy). Gemma is survived by her many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Chapel of the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Norman Fortier officiating.
