CLARGO, ROBERT (BUD)

Suddenly at his home on May 13, 2010. Robert (Bud) Clargo in his 84th year. Beloved Husband of Rose Clargo for the past 51 years and cherished father of Linda Clargo (Douglas Reed). Proud Papa of Michael and Melissa Reed. Son of the late William and Celia Clargo. Dear brother of Gertrude Wright (late James) and Beatrice Clargo. Predeceased by Winnifred Van Daele (late Charles), William Clargo, Vena Haggarty (late John), Roy Clargo (late Eva), Wesley Clargo, Eva Haggarty (late John), John Clargo (late Evelyn), Alice Van Daele (late Charles), Leslie Clargo, Percy Clargo (late Jean) and Dorothy Tonon (late Victor). Bud was a second father to many neices and nephews. Bud will be remembered as a hard working devoted family man who stood for honesty and integrity. He touched the lives of many in a guiet gentle way, always helping others with no expectation of anything in return. He loved the outdoors, spending endless hours gardening and making maple syrup. He also had a flair for politics and was involved in both Prince Twp Council and Recreation Committee for years. Often sought out be many as a trusted advisor on topics from automoblie repair to politics. In keeping with Bud’s request, a gathering of immediate family will take place Monday, May 17th at O’Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home from noon until time of service at 2P.M. with Msgr. Victor Amadio officiating. Cremation to follow. The Clargo family would like to express their gratitude to Bud’s special care givers Karen and Glenna for their care and friendship which made Bud’s life easier.
