Passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice with her daughters Kristine and Karla by her side. She was 89 years old.

Millie was the daughter of Steven and Ann Paskvan (late) and wife of Albert Ciferri (late 1979) and Mac Marzetti (late 1964). She was adored and loved by her daughters Kristine Ciotti (Robert) and Karla Ciferri. Millie was the proud grandmother of Michael Ciotti (Tanya) and Jenna Ciotti (Gordie Bailey).

Millie’s extended family included her sister Mary and brother-in-law Michael Trbovich (late) who raised her after the death of her mother along with their children, George Trbovich (Patti) and Monica Massicotte (Bob). For many years their lives were connected by the backyard path that joined the blended families and provided love and support to one another.

Millie’s life was fulfilled with genuine and dear friends. Elsie Gioia was a lifelong childhood friend/sister for 83 years. Elsie and Millie reminisced daily of stories from early grade school days in the West End. They were each other’s rock. Josephine Dejak and Lorita Francis provided many fun Saturday Night card games and endless coffee chats under the gazebo. The family would also like to extend a special gratitude to Sonia and Ken McCauley for their constant support in recent years.

Special thanks to Dr Costain and the amazing nursing staff at the Sault Area Hospital 3A Surgical Unit (Pam B, Chantale, Ian, Kayla, Brie, Emma, Carly, Alyssa), your kindness and compassion for mom was much appreciated during this difficult time.

A memorial mass will take place at a later date. If desired memorial contributions to S.A.H. Foundation or A.R.C.H. would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522). Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the Ciferri family.

The family will miss Millie’s unwavering love, strength and perseverance. She was a woman of tremendous courage and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Mom was knowledgeable of world and life events and enjoyed sharing her personal opinion.

Mom, you will be missed beyond words…
