CHITTY, Hazel Grace

1919-2011 - Hazel passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Bill Chitty. Loving mother of three children, Cynthia Chitty, Blair Chitty (Gayle) and Brad Chitty (Carli). Devoted grandmother of seven grandchildren, Carolyn Henderson, Will Chitty (Melanie), Richard Chitty (Bev), Mikaela Clark (Andrew), Brennan Chitty (Meghann), James Henderson (Kim) and Gillian Chitty. Survived by her brother Lorne Nicholson (Gloria), sister Roma Klym (Ed), brother in law Jim Kurliak and sister in law Peggy Nicholson. Predeceased by her sister Glenna Kurliak and brother Morris Nicholson. She is much loved and will be missed. Hazel was a Duplicate Bridge life master, first woman president of the Chamber of Commerce and the Real Estate Board. Friends will be received at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, July 2, 2011 from 12 pm until the time of the service in the chapel at 2 pm.
