Passed away March 4, 2024.
He will be greeted by his love Darlene Chevis, and Kelly Oneil will bear hug him.
Steve is survived by his 6 daughters of whom are his pride and joy; Billie Jo Childs Burke (Joe), Jennifer (Mark) Breckenridge, Stephanie Chevis (Tom), Rae Ann Perrault, Roberta Bath (Elliot) and Denna Rancourt (Jamie).
His shining stars were his grandchildren, Kendra, Kristine, Riley, Michael, Matthew, Brendan, Victoria, Curtis, Kyle, Tyler, Samantha and survived by his great grandchildren, Rose, Kiera and Gwendolyn.
Loved and first-born son of the late Robert and Elsie Childs. Beloved brother of the late Brian and survived by his sister Darlene (Walter).
Pam Hurley was his guardian angel, and he adored her spirit and open heart. The family is extremely grateful to her dedication to him.
His proudest moments are those he spent with Curtis and Kyle, and the memories he loved to create with his grandchildren.
Special friend to his fishing buddy Walter and Dave Maitland. His niece Michele Schryer (Jeremy) and the extended Chevis families.
Special thanks to Nigel and the Paramedics who responded.
A private family service will be held Friday, and his wishes will be honoured.
