Passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 29, 2012 surrounded by her family at the age of 69. Devoted wife of 48 years to Maurice. Loving mother of Dave, Dan (Lori) and Renée Braidwood (Alan). Proud grandmother of Ethan, Owen, Olivia, Jacob, Aidan and Emily. Daughter of the late Edna and Harry Komhyr. Sister of John (Donna), Rick (Sandy), Greg (Sue) and Mike (Sue). Cherished daughter-in-law of the late Joseph and Eva. Sister-in-law of the late Art (Bernadette), late Rollie (late Pat), late Beatrice Nolan (late Smokey), Henry (late Loretta), late Jeannine Gauthier and late Denis. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Caring has always been in her nature, and her 45 years as a Labour and Delivery nurse at the General Hospital are a testament to her passion and commitment to others. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 6 - 9 pm. Funeral mass celebrated from Holy Family Parish on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11 am. Rev. Boguslaw Jaroszek officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the SAH Critical Care Fund or the SAH Renal Dialysis Care Unit would be appreciated.
