It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Rusty at the age of 77. Partner of Sharon O'Neil. Proud father of Cindy and extended family, Sherry (Paul) and the late Harvey. Grandpa to Mitchel, Ethan, Curtis, Emily and Alex. Brother, friend and cousin to many.
Rusty worked at Algoma Steel for many years. He had many friends from his years of playing baseball. Rusty lived life on his terms and always marched to the beat of his own drum. He will be fondly remembered for being a wonderful father, and grandfather and always had a soft spot for animals.
As per Rusty's request, there will be no formal services at this time. Memorial donations (Made payable by cheque or online) to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
