It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of "Mr. T" at the age of 75 on Monday, June 17,2019.
Best friend and beloved husband of Susan for 51 years. Loving father of Debbie Grigg, Karen Taylor (Darren Haddow) and Joanne Martin. Cherished grandpa "Papa" of Megan and Madison Grigg, Emily and Hailey Haddow, and Jackson and Jayda Martin. Brother-in-law of Bob and Sonia Caple and Patti and John Wieczor. Uncle to several nieces and nephews and their spouses. He loved you all. Danny was involved in the competitive swimming world for the past 40 years starting out as a coach for the Soo Y Dolphins. He retired after 35 years at Algoma Steel. He was an avid fisherman and loved boating, hunting and golfing. He loved nothing more then being at his home on the shores of Lake Superior. A Come and Go will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25, upstairs (96 Great Northern Road, upstairs) from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. All are welcomed to take part in sharing their special memories. A private family interment will take place at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. A heart felt thank you to the amazing nursing staff and Doctors at the SAH ICU. Your kindness and care was overwhelming.
