CAYEN, DORISSE (EDWARD)

(December 10, 1932) passed away peacefully with family by his side on December 10, 2013, at Extendicare Maple View, Sault Ste. Marie, ON, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Wyona (James) for 54 years. Loving father to Paulette (Wayne) Colbert, Russell (Susan), Daniel (Kathryn), Walter (Pamela), Philip (Deborah), and Norma-Jean (David) Greenslade. Proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren: Amy, Lynn (Scott), Laura, Jason (Anne), Justin, Allen, Taylor, Heather, Richelle, Amanda, David, and Patrick; 6 great grandchildren: Andrea, Kyle, Dylan, Madeline, Abigail, and Valentina. Son of the late Donat and Dina Cayen of Warren On. Predeceased by his brothers Claude and Gilles. Survived by brothers Donald (Jean D’Arc), Marcel (Joan), Guy (Margaret), Yves (Sharon), Geno, and sisters Lorraine (Ed) Jacobson, Noella (John) Vanderplyum, Hugette Carlson, Anita (Guy) Turgeon. Special brother-in-law to Hilda (Ken) Sullivan; Elaine (late Harvey) Kilroy; Margaret (Pat) Waters; the late Clifford James (Linda); Randall (Sally)James; the late Alice (the late Allen) Hughes; Joyce Canning (the late Murray); the late Janet (Carmen) Poll. Dorisse was uncle to many nieces and nephews. Service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 352 Northern Ave., Thursday December 12, 2013 at 2:00p.m. with Rev.Peter Smyth officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to Maple View Extendicare or Holy Trinity Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
