Born September 15, 1934, the 5th son of the late Theresa and Luigi Casola. He left us peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2003 at the Plummer Memorial Hospital after one courageous battle with cancer. Jimmy is remembered with love by his companion and best friend Marie, his beloved son Jimmy Jr. (Terry), Frank (Ann), Kenny (Karen), Jane Buonomo (Gino), Margaret Bumphrey (Michael) and Mary King (Jeff). Grandfather of Matthew, Christina, Sara, Kaitlin, Amy, Darcy, Deanna and Daniel. Jimmy will be missed so much by his brothers and one sister John Sr. (Cecile), Boofy (Norma), Albert (Marlene), Freddie (Sylvia), Margaret Killoran (late Jim) (Andy Benson) and Robert (Silvana). Much loved uncle of many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dear nephew of Fran Mascardelli (late Tarz) and loving friend of Barb and Darcey Paquette. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, June 2 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital (Palliative Care) or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
