At the F. J. Davey Home on Monday January 26, 2009 Phyllis Alberta Carufel in her 94th year. Beloved daughter of the late George and Mary Carufel and predeceased by her sisters, Laura Webster, Helen Leahy, Pauline Hogan, Patricia Reid, Bernadine and Florence Carufel and her brothers , George, Arthur and Timothy Carufel. Loving Aunt of Lenna Lamont, Bill Leahy of White Rock B.C., late Harry Leahy, late Jack Leahy, Ted Leahy, Anne Taylor, late Paul Leahy, Sister Jean Leahy S.S.J. , Norma Reilly, Jane McNally, David Reid, Ken Reid of Cambridge, Lee Webster of Ohio, Mary Monroe of Arizona ,late Lennie Burke, Jim Hogan of California and Brian Carufel of Victoria B.C. Wednesday January 28th from 11a.m.—1p.m. Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church Cathcart St. at 1.30 p.m. with Rev. Eric Pannike officiating. Phyllis devoted her life to her church, her family and her friends. She was a friend to everyone who knew her.
