Peacefully passed away at the Extendicare Van Daele Nursing Home on Sunday, February 5, 2006 at the age of 80 years. Loving wife of the late Peter Carroll. Daughter of the late Alfred and Alice Simons. Dear sister of Emily, Edith, Ethel, Gordon and Hugh. Predeceased by 9 other siblings. Step-mother of Shirley Leigh, Patrick Carroll, Doreen Dubblestein, Betty Cristello, Colleen Wright and Duaine Carroll. Mabel is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to join the family on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (742 Third Line East) for a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Interment has taken place at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Watchtower Society, the Kingdom Hall Building Fund or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
