CARRIE, Emmeliene Adrienne (Kit)

After a lengthy illness, at the SAH Plummer Hospital on August 17, 2010 at the age of 91.

Loving longtime companion of Walter.
Beloved mother of Beth Williamson (Larry) of Kelowna, BC, Janet Gagne (late James) of Sault Ste Marie, ON, and the late Donald Carrie.
Kit is survived by her sister, Betty Jokinen (late Alec), and predeceased by brothers Reginald, Adelour, Fred, Al, Herman, and Joe.
Daughter of the late Regina and Elzeor Seguin.
Cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother to many. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Special thanks to grandson, Mark Andretta of BC for his help and kindness to the family in making final arrangements.
The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff of the Plummer Hospital second floor for their care and compassion over the past two years.

At Kit’s request, no formal service was held. Arrangements entrusted to Arthurs Funeral Home. Private family memorials were held on Saturday August 21 and Sunday August 22. Condolences may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com.

She was a grand lady, a true matriarch, and she will be missed and remembered by all who knew her.
