Peacefully at the FJ Davey Home on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Rosina. Dear father of Angie Trinder (Colin) of Oakbank, Manitoba, Mary Canale and Donna Pedalino (Joe) both of Sault Ste. Marie. Nono of Moira Felix (Dennis) of Winnipeg, Sean Trinder of Oakbank, Matt Pedalino (Trisha) of Nepean and Amanda Pedalino. Great grandfather of Darius Felix. Son of the late Antonio and Angela Canale. Brother of the late Roberto Canale (Mary) and Teresa Bozzo (late Silvio). Brother in law of the late Marietta Fortino (late Carmen), late Cesare Mirabelli (late Antonietta), late Angelina Gatti (Gino) and late Emma DeRosa (Michele). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A private family funeral service was held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, February 20, 2010. Father Trevor Scarfone officiated. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
