Peacefully at the Matthews Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Frank. Beloved mother of Harold, David (Pat) and the late John. Grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 36. Mother-in-law of Greer, Louise and Lynn. Beloved sister of Marion Hyndman (John), Ed Hawdon (Merle), Julia McFadden (late Jim) and the late Margaret Bjornaa (Andy), Anne Young (Bill), Reg Hawdon (Bessie), Rose Gilbertson (Bernt), Carl Hawdon (Olive) and Maureen McIntyre (Scotty). Sister-in-law of Lawrence (Catherine) and the late Joe (Louise), Jack (Jean), Ella Boyle (Jack), Bill, Edna Dixon (Donald) and Douglas (Gerry). Also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
