It is with heavy hearts the family of Wellwood Cail (also known as Drifty or Bob), shares his passing on Sunday, January 15, 2017.  Married in love and friendship to Irene Cail for 60 years.  Drifty’s siblings include Roberta Cawston (late Bert), brother-in-law Roger Quesnel (Josie), sister-in-law Cecil (late Albert) and he is predeceased by his sister Helen Cail.  He will be fondly remembered by all his children; Roberta Moss (Jim), Helen Alldred (Randy), Jim Cail (Jan), Mark Cail (Rhonda) and Willy Cail.  With many grandchildren, Drifty is remembered by Tyler Alldred, Amanda Moss-Morin (Peter), Tara Alldred (Ryan), Traci Alldred, Tess Alldred (Ryan), Brianne Cail, Jessica Cail, Nolan Cail and Ben Cail.  A long-time resident of the Soo, Drifty spent the last few years in Muskoka, where he resided with his wife, close to his two daughters, one son, and many grandchildren.  Even in his last years he retained his sense of wonder, whether he was watching the towering trees or wildlife in the yard.   Always with a smile and a story to share, Drifty acted as the lighthouse of the family, spreading light and helping to bring everyone together.  A private graveside service was held.  Memorial contributions to ARCH would be appreciated.
