Sandfield, Ontario, August 30, 1933. Sylvania, Ohio March 22, 2006. Flora Dolores Sybella Pyette Burk. A beautiful flower, the abundance of God. She touched thousands in her strong, quiet way. Where she passed, people became better. She is home now, but the ripples she made do gently continue. Those left behind with both grief and joy include Gary Burk, David and Sarah Burk, Cheri, John, Chelsea, and David Henley, Norris Pyette, Nelson Pyette, Luanne Gamoyda, Lester Pyette, Ron Pyette, Alan Pyette, Matthew Hall, Molly Hall, and countless others who were privileged to meet her. Race finished; faith kept. 2 Timothy, 4:7, 8. Memorial service Monday, March 27, 10 am, at McCord Road Christian Church. Reception following.
