(February 14, 1951 - March 30, 2024) - We regret to announce the passing of Terry at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice with a long battle with emphysema, COPD and cancer.

Terry was the son of the late Bob.  Dear brother of Robert and the late Valerie.  Husband of Diana Bumbacco.

In his younger days, Terry loved building engines.   He built his 68 Mustang, which he called Sting. He enjoyed being in the garage, day and night working on that 427 Ford motor.  Terry also loved metal detecting with his close family member Lyle and Vicki always hoping to find that pot of gold.

Terry was very active.  He played in the International Fastball League and also for the Algoma Steel Broomball and Industrial Hockey League.  He enjoyed spending time and doing things with his father especially hunting and fishing.  He was also very proud of his father for being able to raise three children on his own.

Terry is now united with the Lord, his dad and his sister.  He will be missed by the Gilmar family, Lyle and Vicky and their children who were very fond of him and his father. They were like family to him.

He will be missed by his relatives, many friends and facebook friends he made over the years.  Terry will also be missed by his best friends, the fur babies Toby and Lucy.  He would like to thank Diana Bumbacco, who he loved so dearly for taking care of them when he's gone.

Family and friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel  (492 Wellington St. East; 705-759-2522) on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 2 pm to 3 pm.  Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to T.A.A.G. (Animal Assistance Group), St. Veronica's Catholic Church or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.   Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the Bumbacco family.
