It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joseph ‘Dodo’ Bumbacco announce his peaceful passing on May 13,2023 at the F.J. Davey Home in his 90th year.
Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Sorrenti) for 69 years. Devoted father to Mary Ann Ruicci (late Nick) and Lenny (Lisa). His pride and joy were his grandkids Travis (Britany), Luke Ruicci and Joey Bumbacco. Much loved Dodo to Jordyn Cone, Sloane, Conrad, and Barrett Ruicci.
Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Mary Bumbacco and his sisters Rosemary Ontonovich (late Mike) and Theresa Stocco (Archie). Survived by his sister Carol Fabbro (Dan). Son in Law of the late Dominic and Mary Sorrenti. Brother in Law of the late Anne Scarfone (late Steve), late Carmel Colosimo (late Louie, late Pat), late Rose Raso (late Mike), late Joseph Sorrenti (late Bertha), late Frankie Sorrenti (Joanne), late Louie (Gigi) Sorrenti and the late Angela DeGraw (Joe). Survived by many nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank Dr. Grosso and Dr. Coccimiglio for their care through the years. To the wonderful people at the Medicine Shoppe, he enjoyed being part of your work family and thank you for the care extended to him afterwards. Thank you to the staff on Birchlane 1 and Birchlane 3 at the F. J. Davey Home for your care and kindness.
As per Joseph’s wishes, cremation and a private service has taken place.
